Typical Camp Day

Campers learn skills for seven sports as well as participate in a variety of fun games. In addition to summer camps, Playball also offers winter break and spring break camps.

Typical Camp Day

9:00-9:15 Free time in the gym while we wait for everyone to arrive.

9:15-10:00 Games and practice skills for the sport of the day.

10:00-10:30 Bathroom break and snack time.

10:30-11:00 Free play or playground time.

11:00-11:50 Continue practicing skills for the sport of the day and games.

11:50-12:00 Sporty song, stamps, and prepare for dismissal.

Summer is a time for running, jumping, splashing, and having fun! Playball Summer Camp provides for all of these in a safe, structured, and creative setting. Our high-energy, low-pressure environment is great for boys and girls of all abilities, from little athletes to children who have never played sports.

My son Wade participated in Playball each Friday at his school and also the Spring Break camp this year. He absolutely loved it and looked forward to going and playing with Coach Paula. How to prepare for camp:

bring a water bottle
bring a snack with drink
wear clothing that is light and comfortable
wear tennis shoes. No crocs or flip flops will be permitted.
apply sunscreen if needed.

Agreement & Waiver to Participate

Scheduling, Payment, and Attendance:

-Registration must be completed and fees paid before placement in any class or camp can be guaranteed.

-Payment can be completed online using PayPal, returned to your child's school or by mailing a check made out to Playball.

-A $20.00 administration fee will be applied to all returned checks.

-Playball is not responsible for lost or stolen checks at your child care provider.

Refund Policy:

-There are no refunds. Playball will not issue a refund or reduction in fees for non-attendance at a scheduled class, weather cancellations, Covid related incidents, or any circumstance out of Playball Carolinas control.

Class Policies and Waiver of Liability:

-Playball reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Upon cancellation, a full refund will be made.

Participation in all sports can be inherently dangerous and it is impossible to ensure the safety of all participating individuals. Playball demands cardiovascular fitness, coordination, and agility. Although many risks can be avoided, I, the parents/guardian understand that not all risks can be avoided and I release Playball and my child's school from responsibility for any injury that my child might incur during the course of normal play. I further understand that in the event of a medical emergency, my child’s coach at Playball will call EMS to render assistance and that I will be financially responsible for any expenses involved.

While playing sports, accidents do happen. Some of these accidents may be minor like collisions with other players, with the ground, or being struck by a ball.

To reduce the risk of injury, participants are expected to abide by the following rules:

-Wear sports appropriate clothing and shoes (no crocs, flip-flops, or rain boots)

-Stay within the boundaries of the Playball field

-Adhere to the rules of Playball, thus creating a safe playing environment

The above-mentioned participant agrees to follow the preceding safety rules and all rules common to the sports practiced at Playball.

I certify that the above-mentioned participant 1) possesses a sufficient degree of physical fitness to safely participate in Playball, 2) understands that they are to discontinue activity at any time if they feel discomfort or stress, and 3) has indicated in the "Special Needs" section any health-related conditions that might affect their ability to play sports and will verbally inform the Playball coach before classes have started.

I have read the preceding information. I know and understand the risks associated with participation in Playball and I am voluntarily participating the above-mentioned participant in the activity. In doing so, the above-mentioned participant is assuming all of the inherent risks of the sports program.

In consideration of being permitted to attend Playball, on behalf of myself, my family, and my heirs, I hereby release Playball, its agents, and its employees from liability for injury, loss, or death to the above-mentioned participant while using any facility or equipment or in any way associated with participating in the activity of Playball, now or in the future, resulting from the ordinary negligence of Playball and its employees.

Photo/Video Release Agreement: I do hereby consent and agree that Playball has the right to take sport and team related photographs or video of my child during Playball. These photos or videos will only be used on the company website www.playballcarolinas.com, and/or the company Facebook and Instagram pages. I understand that my child’s name and identity will not be revealed. If you would prefer we not take photographs and/or video of your child, please notify Playball Carolinas via e-mail
